Many of you are asking:  When does crew start showing up to rehearsals?

Rehearsal Schedule for Legally Blonde
Mandatory Parent and Student meeting: Thursday, August 30th @ 7:00pm in the theatre.

Crew should plan to begin attending rehearsals beginning October 1st. Different crews will have different call
times and attendance dates. Paint days will occur prior to that and it would be great if you could attend some of
Prior to October 8, rehearsals will be M, T, W, F at 3:45 and Thursday 5:30 - 9:30pm
After October 8, Rehearsals will be M-F from 5:30 -  9:30pm.
No conflicts will be allowed during the 2 weeks that run up to the performance. October 8th –
We will tech the show in the evenings and therefore will not have a weekend tech day.
Below are the performance dates.  Crew will be called 1 1/2 - 2 hours before curtain.  Updates will be made as we get in to tech rehearsals and final dress.
Performance Dates: October 19, 20 @ 7:30 October 21 @ 2:00
October 27 @ 7:30 October 28 @ 2:00

CREW Conflicts:
We expect all participants to be fully committed to this program. Please list all commitments or special
occasions that may conflict with rehearsals or performances (e.g. school events, vacations, other productions,
practices, lessons, weddings, concerts, show tickets...) The number and frequency of your conflicts will have a
bearing on crew assignments.

When you are assigned to a crew position, we are relying on you to be present when called. However, because
we cannot predict illnesses, sudden conflict, and other similar factors, we may need to add a rehearsal date, or
change a rehearsal from on thing to another. Rehearsals will likely change slightly over the rehearsal period, so
it is important that you keep your schedule flexible. We will not accept added conflicts that exceed the allotted
A conflict is any time you are going to miss over 50% of the rehearsal. Leaving early or late for rehearsal must
be cleared in advance and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If chosen to be on the tech crew, you will
be allowed 1 conflict date, which must be given in writing by your parent. (This means only 1 specific date; ie
“every Tuesday” means you have 2 added conflicts, not 1) If you find that with your active schedule of other
things (sports, lessons, etc) that you will have more than 1 conflict, you may want to reconsider doing the

Rehearsals will fall M-F anywhere from 3:45 – 9:30, with some possible weekend rehearsals/load-ins as well.
